Ron McGeary has been a professional jobbing cartoonist for over 40 years and his work has appeared in most British national newspapers and magazines. He started selling cartoons to the now defunct "Weekend" and "Titbits" magazines in the late 60s, then to London-based national newspapers. For five years until it was disbanded, he regularly contributed topical cartoons for The Daily Telegraph's "Peterborough" column, its OpEd pages, and for the front page of the Saturday edition. His work was also published in The Daily Mail and Mail on Sunday, Private Eye, The Oldie, and The Spectator.

He now draws cartoon illustrations for the Union Jack Club, London's Premier Armed Forces Club, of which he is a proud member.

Ron is married with three sons and lives in Essex. He gets up early every morning because it gives him the rest of the day to himself.
